At Apprenda, Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for the Senior Account Managers.
Marketing at Apprenda is leading the charge in defining our space, spreading the good news about private PaaS, and is responsible for driving a significant portion of Apprenda's net new customer revenue. We focus on making our sales team's job easier, and keeping our brand in lockstep with our incredible product leadership position. As a member of our BDR team at Apprenda, you will manage inbound lead activity and outbound prospecting initiatives with the goal of quickly identifying which prospects are "sales ready", and which are early in their discovery process and still need to be nurtured and marketed to. You will qualify active buying interest and cultivate opportunities in prospect accounts. As a frontline representative of Apprenda, you will need to build strong relationships with prospective customers through helpful interactions and superior follow up.
•Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop inbound leads and target accounts to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
•Interact with prospects via telephone and email
•Become a trusted resource and advisor to our prospective customers
•Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest to stimulate opportunity
•Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
•Update lead information, and manage leads in salesforce.com
•Consistently meet or exceed qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objectives
•Provide feedback to ensure continuous process optimization
